Dear fanatics, we are gradually beginning to introduce the artists of this year’s lineup, and there is no other way to start than by speaking about the person who stands at the very heart of our festival – its founder, guiding force, and spiritual inspiration: DJ Stevo.
DJ Stevo stands among the longest-active Psy/Goa DJs to emerge from Croatia. Trained from an early age in classical music, he graduated as a professional pianist, carrying deep musical knowledge long before stepping into the world of electronic sound.
In the 1990s, his first encounter with Goa Trance became a moment of awakening – a sound that would define his path for decades to come. In 2022, Stevo marked 20 years since his first major public DJ appearance in Zagreb. From those early days, his presence spread across Croatia and beyond. As an official DJ of the legendary Neogoa Records, and later a key DJ on Suntrip Records, his journey led him to iconic gatherings such as Lost Theory Festival and Old Is Gold, opening the gates to international stages across Europe and the wider world.
Beyond the decks, Stevo is a builder of worlds. Through Balkan Goa Fanatics, he has shaped the regional Goa Trance movement, including the monumental Suntrip Records 10-Year Anniversary Festival – a five-day celebration etched into scene history. As a producer, his roots reach back to 2001 with Adrenalin Run, evolving further through collaborations with pioneers such as Kris Kylven, Goasia, Green Child, and others.
From this alchemical process emerged his solo project Third Eye Channel, alongside further explorations with Beatange and Rio Dario, blending Goa, Progressive, and Dark Psy into a singular vision. Since relocating to Germany in 2023, DJ Stevo continues to carry the flame – not merely as a DJ or producer, but as a guardian of Goa Trance’s timeless spirit.
