Lunar Dawn is a collaborative musical project of two enthusiasts, Kristijan Ilišinović and Saša Prečanica.
Having grown up together, they developed their musical sensibilities from an early age and began creating music as far back as 2001.
In 2010, Kristijan launched the Lunar Dawn project, focusing primarily on Goa Trance soundscapes. Due to their shared musical vision, he soon invited Saša to join him, and this is how Lunar Dawn was born in the form we know today.
Their debut album, Kolovrat, is inspired by ancient and multifaceted Slavic folklore and mythology. The album was crafted over a three-year period and features 10 previously unreleased tracks, including two collaborations: one with the well-known Croatian ethno/neofolk band Svarica, and another featuring vocals by Jasmina.
Following this release, the project went on to publish two more stunning albums on the legendary label Neogoa, further expanding their sonic universe.
